PASTORAL TEAM

"We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us," Paul writes to his friends in Rome (12:6), and that free exercise of gifts in building the local congregation is still the basis for a strong congregational life. 2001 was designated the international "Year of the Volunteer", and NPMC is one of the communities that exists because of the many volunteers exercising their gifts. Some of the ways in which personal gifts are used at NPMC are: teaching, music, encouragement, sound system operators, ushers, greeters and those who manage our financial details. And then there are those who volunteer outside the congregation: hospital auxiliaries, Rotary clubs, denominational committees. There are the finances that make possible the implementation of our mission statement: our finances are voluntarily contributed.

Another of the gifts given to the congregation is that of leadership; among us are those ordained to service (Vern Ratzlaff, Jake Nickel, Verner Friesen, Bernie Retzlaff, Helen and Bill Kruger), whose gifts are still utilized in congregational and denominational and community leadership, in preaching, in advising.

Volunteers, using their God given gifts: that’s NPMC.
