SUNDAY SCHOOL
Teaching our children about God and Christian values is an integral part of
the Christian Education of the Mennonite Church. It is a wonderful opportunity,
as well as an awesome responsibility for us as adults in the church. We
appreciate the dedication of the many people involved in our Sunday School
program. A heartfelt thank you to our Christian Education Deacon,
our treasurer, our leaders in music, and our many Sunday School
teachers. Your commitment of time and energy are greatly appreciated.
We have about 100 students enrolled in our Sunday School. We are using the Jubilee Curriculum material. It is a teacher-friendly program, offering a variety of teaching ideas, methods, and hands-on materials. From all reports, both teachers and students seem well pleased with the program.
The Sunday School students present a Christmas program every year In song and voice the children remind us of the wonder and true meaning of Christmas.
We express a heart felt thank you and appreciation for the enthusiasm and commitment of the students, teachers, and parents involved in our Sunday School program. We anticipate a continuation of the same into the future, we find it to be an exciting and rewarding experience.
