VENTURE CLUBS
Venture Clubs is a program geared for children from Grade 3 to Grade 6.
Our skill groups are:
- crafts (grade 3),
- cooking (grade 4),
- woodworking (grade 5)
- sewing (grade 6).
We am very grateful for the hard work and commitment of our leaders. These people share their knowledge with our kids every week, teaching them important life skills and this is what makes Venture Club such a success.
As well every year we enjoy our get-acquainted party, display our creativity at our pumpkin-carving party, and prepared music and articles for our annual Craft and Bake Sale, in addition to our weekly projects.
We also participate in a service project each week here at Nutana Park. Every Tuesday, we spend about ten minutes, cleaning and organizing the books and replenishing the cards and envelopes in the pews for Sunday morning. Thanks to Bernie Retzlaff for allowing us to help, which gives us the opportunity to feel like we, too, can contribute to life here at Nutana.
Venture Clubs is a great opportunity for kids to work together with their friends and leaders in a spirit of fun and cooperation, while learning new skills and exploring God’s way.
