YOUNG FAMILIES
The Young Families group provides gatherings where parents and children can all grow, mature and learn together; where we can challenge and support each other; and where we can be challenged. Most of this is done informally. Last winter and spring, our activities consisted of a Potluck and Games night, a trip to the Zoo followed by a BBQ in the Forestry Farm, a Pizza night and a close-off BBQ at Diefenbaker Park.
Young Families like to participate in special events like a quest through The Corn Maze followed by a BBQ, organized and hosted the Multigenerational Church Social and a Christmas Party.
There is a list of all the "known" young families on the Young Families bulletin board in the Education Wing. If you know of a name that should be added or deleted, please mark the list appropriately. Should you have any questions, concerns, comments or ideas, please feel free to contact us.
