YOUTH
Our Youth program has once again changed its look. Reece Retzlaff has taken over this role and is currently working with the 40 members (from 20 families) that make up the Youth Group.
As part of the youth program Reece will be holding weekly Bible studies. This runs from September to June and is attended by many of the youth each week and is an integral part of the program. The Bible study topics are relevant to the group and take their shape from the youth’s own interest areas. The group also meets on Saturday evenings for more social events. The youth executive meets once a month to plan events and to evaluate how things are going. Reece has also chosen to meet with the youth parents to share some of her goals as well as get feedback from the parents.
The mentor program continues to be a positive way to keep the youth and congregation members connected.
