PART 10 – NOMINATING COMMITTEE

Appointment and composition

      52  (1)     The board of deacons shall appoint a nominating committee not less than two 
                     months prior to the semi-annual meeting.

            (2)     The nominating committee shall consist of not fewer than three Members of the
                     Congregation. 

Duties

      53  (1)     The nominating committee shall:
                     (a)     present to the semi-annual meeting a slate of nominees willing to accept
                              nomination for each position specified;
                     (b)     make recommendations to the Congregation concerning the most appropriate
                              rotation of election of deacons, coordinators and members of committees;
                              and
                     (c)     assist the board of deacons in selecting candidates to fill vacancies that occur
                              in elected or appointed positions.

            (2)     The number of candidates nominated for each vacancy shall be left to the
                     discretion of the nominating committee.
