PART 12 – COORDINATORS, COMMITTEES AND OTHER CHURCH WORKERS

Coordinators

      55  (1)     Members may determine the programs desired and essential to the Congregation
                     that are to be directed by coordinators.

            (2)     Members may determine which coordinators shall be elected  by the Members and

                     which coordinators shall be appointed by the board of deacons.

 

            (3)     The board of deacons shall specify the duties of each coordinator.

            (4)     The term of office of a coordinator shall:
                     (a)     be two years; and
                     (b)     begin on July 1 following the semi-annual meeting at which he or she was
                              elected or appointed.

            (5)     There shall be no limit on the number of times that coordinators may be re-
                     elected or reappointed to the same position.

 

Committees

      56  (1)     Members may determine the services desired and essential to the Congregation
                     that are to be provided by committees.

           
(2)     Members may determine which committees shall be elected by the Members and
                     which committees shall be appointed by the board of deacons.

            (3)     The board of deacons shall specify the duties of each committee.

            (4)     The term of office of a person on a committee shall:
                     (a)     be two years; and
                     (b)     begin on July 1 following the semi-annual meeting at which he or she was
                              elected or appointed. 

            (5)     There shall be no limit on the number of times that members of committees may be
                     re-elected or reappointed to the same committee.

Other Church Workers

      57  (1)    The board of deacons may appoint such other  church workers as it considers

                     necessary to perform specific functions desired by and essential to the

                     Congregation.

 

             (2)    There shall be no limit on the terms of office of church workers appointed under
                     subsection (1).
