PART 3 – SERVICES AND ORDINANCES

Services

      3    (1)    Regular services of worship will be held Sunday mornings and at such other times
                     as the Congregation finds desirable.

             (2)   Other services and activities will be planned according to the needs and desires of
                     the Congregation.

 Ordinances

      4    (1)     Baptismal services may be held at such times or occasions as the Congregation finds desirable.

             (2)     The Lord’s Supper, as instituted by Christ, may be observed as often and at such
                       intervals as the Congregation finds desirable.

            (3)     The Congregation:
                     (a)     recognizes marriage to have been instituted by God (Genesis 1 and 2);  and
                     (b)     encourages Members to plan their weddings in such a way as to
                              acknowledge and manifest that fact.

            (4)     It is desirable that Members’ marriage plans be made known to the Congregation
                     prior to the event so that prayer and support may be offered the couple.

            (5)     It is desirable that parents present their infant children before the Lord as an act of
                     dedicating themselves to, and requesting the Congregation’s support in, the
                     rearing of  their children in the Christian faith.

            (6)    Ordination services for pastors, evangelists, missionaries and such other
                     positions as may arise will be conducted when deemed to be appropriate
